MTSGWBM34 coilover set for BMW E39 Touring (with active Nivo)
The E39 was a sporty saloon. In the model range, BMW also presented a station wagon with the Nivo rear axle leveling system. This solution facilitated the use of the car, regardless of the weight of the load in the trunk. With proper calibration, it also allowed to lower it.
Coilover fronts, air rears
Due to the different design of the rear suspension, for a long time we only offered front axle kits for the E39 Touring. Now we are happy to announce that the offer for this model has significantly expanded. A novelty in our offer is the MTSGWBM34 set.

The front axle of the Touring is identical to that of the saloon. So here we have a well-known threaded strut, covered with a double layer of golden zinc, armed with Eibach springs. The hexaCOIL nut makes it easy to adjust the height.
The front are threaded struts already well known from sedan kits.
The rear axle is a revolution in this case. Directly for the Touring body, we have created a dedicated rear sports shock absorber. It is naturally stiffer and suitable for use when the car is much closer to the ground than stock.
The rear shock absorber is a completely new design.
The MTSGWBM34 is a kit for those E39 Touring users who do not want to sacrifice rear axle pneumatics. Therefore, in addition to the new shock absorbers, special adjustable links are added to the set. They support the proper setting of the Nivo, according to the needs of the owner. So that the rear axle harmonizes with the lowered front axle.
These links, also included in the kit, help to lower the rear axle properly from the Nivo.
The MTSGWBM34 set has already passed the TüV certification path at the prototype stage. And it will not be the only option we have prepared for the owners of this model. More details will appear in the next blog post.
