Quattro for an Audi enthusiast is almost a determinant of a complete car – comfortable, solid made and with great driving. Following the needs of our clients, we have completed an important gap in the offer. From now on, A4 B5 Quattro owners can enjoy the MTS Technik suspension.

We take care of users needs

The designers of the first generation of Audi A4 have given trouble to themselves and users. Thanks to them, the suspension from the FWD version could not be adapted to the 4WD version. Users of the latter could not stay with anything. Their expectations will be met by the MTSGWAU40 set. The front threaded strut is a well-known solution, already used in suspensions for FWD cars. However, there were some significant modification here. The shock absorber remained unchanged. The spring mounted on it is a novelty. This is of course a product from Eibach’s shelves. The change of the spring also allowed the transition to a more convenient hexaCOIL spring perch.

The most important is in the rear axle

The suspension of the rear axle is what conditioned the creation of a new set. The rear strut has been designed from scratch so that it fits perfectly under the Quattro. The threaded surface allows a significant lowering. Similarly to the front, also here the entire weight of the car is kept on the Eibach spring.

A4 B5 seems to experience a second youth. This applies above all to the crazy S4, which will still surprise many of its performance. These fast cars were offered only with the Quattro drive. MTS Technik suspension keeps Dynamic Biturbo on the correct lane. We have found out about it in our test car. We have installed here the MTSGWAU41 set, adapted for heavier engine versions.
