Just like the BMW E39 Touring, its successor can count on a coilover suspension in one of two options.
The BMW E61, so the family version of the 5 series, was a car in which the rear axle was based on the Nivo system. It is a convenient solution for everyday travel with luggage and family. However, some fans of driving a lowered car may not like it. Therefore, in addition to the set presented in the previous post, we have also prepared the MTSGWBM38 suspension.
The described set is what lovers of traditional springs on both axles are looking for. With them in mind, a set of elements has been designed that can be successfully installed in place of airbags. In addition to the traditional height adjustment and an adapter specially designed for this model, there are of course also springs manufactured by Eibach.
Once again, we offer a solution based on a double spring system, perfect for both lowering and driving behavior. This was confirmed by the TUV certificate. The sport shock absorber completes the set of positive impressions related to the movement of the E61 without the Nivo system. It is also a structure developed from the beginning especially for this particular model.
The front is a well-known solution from the saloon, the E60. The gold threaded strut contrasts with the red of the Eibach springs. The whole thing not only looks good, but also ensures the proper behavior of a large limousine with often a heavy engine.
Kits for the E61 are divided not only into options for those who want to leave or eliminate Nivo. We also have something for those looking for a slightly more sporty experience – the Sport series, the MTSGWBM38-S set.
