MTSGWBM37 coilover set for BMW E61 (with active Nivo)
The E61, so the Touring version of the popular 5 series, has a Nivo suspension on the rear axle, similar to its predecessor. As you already know, we already offer both axle kits for E39 Touring. In parallel, we also worked on the next generation.

We have also divided the suspensions for the E61 model into two options for customers to choose from. At the beginning, an alternative for those who still want to use the Nivo system, so the MTSGWBM37 set.
MTSGWBM37 coilover suspension
The front strut is not only an element known from kits for the E60 saloon. Thanks to the clever approach of BMW engineers, it is a well-known solution taken from the E39. You will find here a double layer of golden zinc, PUR foam bump stops and Eibach springs. The hexaCOIL nuts are responsible for changing the height of the car.

Completely new rear suspension
As with the kits for the E39, most changes takes place in the rear axle. After all, this is where the main difference between the Touring and the saloon is. The most striking feature is the brand new sports shock absorber.
Rear shock for E61 is a completely new product
As the MTSGWBM37 is a set to keep the Nivo, it will naturally not include any rear axle springs. Air suspension will continue to play its role. Nevertheless, in order for everything to work properly also when lowering, special links are included in the set. Everything to ensure that the buyer of this set has everything at hand, without the need to buy additional components.
These links, also included in the kit, help to lower the rear axle properly from the Nivo.
