Trend for lowering does not go away. However, the requirements are getting more and more strict. In addition to the lowering itself, the maximum alignment of the wheel to the wheel arch is also important. Often, it is difficult because of the car construction. That’s what camber plates are for.
Next to the lowering springs, sports and coilover suspensions, we are gradually developing another product group – camber plates. Top mounts with the possibility of adjusting the angle of the wheel are the next step for the car to meet the high requirements of its owner.
The first effects of our work on camber plates were sets for the classic BMWs – E30 and E34. The final effect was that the newly introduced sets MTSGWBM11 and MTSGWBM14 were immediately offered together with camber plates!
Bearing in mind that an equally strong group of enthusiasts in the world of tuning as BMW has also VW, after the success of the above-mentioned sets, we designed cambers for cars from Wolfsburg. We can already boast a ready product for Golfs, starting from the classic Mk1, through the extremely popular Mk2 and Mk3, ending with the still interesting Mk4. The spacious wheel arches of the latter will accommodate 19 “wheels. There is therefore a lot of field for combination with angles.
Some say that something seemingly as simple as the shock absorber top mounts can not be surprised. Wrong! We foresaw the so-called 3D cambers for BMW E36 and E46, allowing you to set up in several planes! (camber / caster). Adding all this with the possibility of adjusting the height in the coilover suspension, model fanatics will be able to spend long winter evenings on a meticulous setting of the perfect setting for themselves.
